Cincinnati's experienced legal attorney

Educated at Ohio State University where he received his law degree, Richard Glazer remained in the Cincinnati area where he has been a practicing attorney for more than 30 years. Among his achievements, his most notable ones include his representation for the Ohio Department of Transportation, leading one of Cincinnati's top legal agencies, and authoring a manual exploring the complete Ohio Eminent Domain Law.

Meet the lawyer

For more than 30 years of Ohio eminent domain litigation, Richard has represented property owners in appropriation matters for a variety of public projects and undertakings including: the expansion of a public library, the Kentucky Speedway, aviation easements for airport expansion, urban renewal and redevelopment projects, utility and energy projects and takings by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for a dam project. He has also represented the owners of varied property including private homes, banks, shopping centers, office complexes, apartment complexes, hotels/motels, sports arenas, restaurants, car dealerships, service stations, veterinary clinics, hospitals, and other commercial, residential and special use properties.

Mr. Glazer graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a B.B.A. in Economics and continued his education at Ohio State University where he received his J.D. From 1973-1982, he led an attorney office in the Eminent Domain Office of the Ohio Attorney General in Cincinnati where he represented the Ohio Department of Transportation in condemnation cases involving highway and bridge projects. While employed with the Ohio Attorney General, he authored a manual on Ohio Eminent Domain Law for the Attorney General's office. For the past 22 years, he's dedicated his time to representing private property owners in eminent domain litigation against ODOT, the State of Ohio, various Ohio cities and counties as well as utilities and the federal government.

Mr. Glazer is an active member of the American Association for Justice, The Ohio Association for Justice, the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Cincinnati Bar Association and the Hamilton County Trial Lawyers Association.
